Central American coffees have a fruit-like acidity likened to apples or cherries. Underneath they have a rather distinct brand of sweetness that is buttery and pastry-like. Often described as well-balanced, the Central American coffees’ flavors never overpower each other. South American coffees on the other hand have an even lighter character but with a touch more of sweetness. They have a low acidity, an indulgent caramel flavor, and a delicious nutty undertone.
